This is "The Multimedia Signal Processing and Security Lab", short WaveLab, website. We are a research group at the Computer Sciences Department of the University of Salzburg. The short name "WaveLab" already indicates that wavelets are among our favorite tools - we have 15 years of experience in this area. Our research is focused on Multimedia Security including Watermarking, Image and Video Compression, Medical Image Classification, and Biometrics.

About Me:

    I am a third year PhD student in the Wavelab group of Prof. Uhl. My thesis is related to statistical models for wavelet transform coefficients with application to classification, retrieval and multimedia security.

 
 

Reproducible Research:

    Since i am a great fan of reproducible research in signal and image processing, i provide code (mainly MATLAB) for most of the listed research papers. According to our group policy, source code which implements other peoples' research work is freely available for download and source code for our own papers is availabe upon request.
